This was my open letter to a local business group on FB where I am from, they blocked and deleted me for having an open and honest conversation about the state of our country right now...People, the positivity, love, sense of community and freedom where OVER THE TOP on Saturday, and I needed that love so much after the past 6 months. However because our Prime Minter has spewed nothing but hate and discrimination against a particular group of citizens for an entire 2 years, this weekend didn\u2019t come without it\u2019s fair share of haters. Along with people who simply don\u2019t agree. Which is perfectly fine because Canada is a free Country for now.First I would like to say I respect every single Canadian, with whatever choice they made when it comes to their vaccine status. All I want is for everyone to have a CHOICE to choose what is right for their bodies and lives.Let\u2019s talk about me standing up for what people keep telling me \u201cI believe is right\u201d. It is not only what I believe, it is LAW in Canada. Currently PUBLIE SERVANTS have less rights than PRISONERS, so EVERYONE should be standing up asking for a law abiding Prime Minister, and if we do not have a law abiding Prime Minister, we have a dictator. I can tell you for certain we have a dictator for the following reasons; He is dividing citizens, he is creating hate amongst us, he is oppressing and speaking hate against a fraction of citizens. He has taken away my job without any rhyme or reason, the labour program refuses to investigate PPE and Occupational health and safety standards to help me obtain informed consent. The privacy commissioner skipped his duties of completing Privacy Impact Assessment prior to launching the policy, so there is no guarantee that my medical information would remain private. My union has offered little to no help, another union president wrote that this policy came directly out of our Prime Ministers Office with NO fair discussion in parliament, and this is obviously true as the policy was developed during his election campaign, WHEN THERE WAS NO SITTING HOUSE. The Whistleblower department is a complete shame and is refusing to investigate. My HR department can\u2019t even tell me how valid my contract is, even though that has nothing to do with COVID & I know members who have stolen and kept their jobs. I have been bullied, harassed, gas-lit, discriminated against by my bosses. I also have no idea if I will be able to collect EI while I look for a new career, because yes, our Prime Minister is committing tax fraud as well. Yes, I have started legal action against my union and once I have finished that I will be starting it against my employer, because THIS IS ILLEGAL, I am doing something to make a difference, or trying to!Second, History is not always beautiful discoveries and inventions, most of the time the history we learn is about COMMUNISM, WAR, DEATH and GENOCIDE, all horrible events of our past. All things I obviously do not agree with. However when it comes to members in this Freedom movement I feel I need to explain a few things to the general public so you can understand the other half of the NOT SO SILENT MAJORITY. First the most extreme person in a rally like is happening now, normally does not represent the groups initiatives or goals and as we know paid actors & set-ups are very popular in 2022. Second I can tell you a lot of the citizens participating in these Freedom rallies are early generation Canadians, who fled their country looking for a better life. They came to Canada to escape said COMMUNISM, WAR, DEATH and GENOCIDE. So these Canadians who may have been directly effected by a totalitarian leader are speaking up and drawing parallels to horrific historical events, then they have every right to do so as they may have been effected by this personally in some way. Most are trying to warn us that this is exactly how the horrible situations started in their own countries. Lastly symbolism is very powerful for a reason, it triggers many different emotions in many different people, if it means something for you, it may mean some<\/div>\n\n

So in conclusion if you are offended by the symbolism this may have been their plan to get you to understand how seriously they have been affected by our dictator Prime Minister and these mandates. History is not meant to be liked, it is meant to not be repeated. If we can\u2019t have hard open honest discussions about how the leader of our \u201cFree\u201d country has become an oppressive dictator, then we will never be able to solve the problem and start re-building our free and democratic society in Canada.Finally I would like to talk about mental health. For years we have tried to nurture mental health and ensure people had the resources when and if they needed them. Now in the past 8 months my friends and family won\u2019t even talk to me about how horrible this has been for me, didn\u2019t ask if I was ok when I was fired. EVERYONE is so scared to talk about how this is actually effecting everyone\u2019s mental health tremendously, it\u2019s very sad to see. I have never felt as alone and separated from my friends and family as I do now, because of the leader of our \u201cfree\u201d country. In the matter of 8 months my partner and I went from trying to buy our first house, to needing the food bank, and if you think its ok for someone\u2019s entire life to be flipped upside down because of not being able to obtain informed consent then you my friend are the issue.Get out and have these hard conversations with people, understand where they are coming from & try to be the change you want to see in our Country instead of just wining about it online. \u2764<\/b><\/i>\u270c<\/b><\/i>\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udde6<\/b><\/i><\/div>\n\n\n \n
